Driver — Rideshare and Autonomous Vehicle Support

Job overview

The Driver role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with full-time evening and/or overnight shifts five days a week. Pay is $20–$25 per hour. AVFleet provides a company electric vehicle, insurance, maintenance, charging, and work tools for driving on the Uber platform. The driver transports passengers safely and on time while completing vehicle checks, maintaining sensors, and following dispatch instructions. The role also drives designated routes to train the vehicle’s autonomous system and provides professional passenger service.

What you'll do

• Transport passengers safely and on time in a company electric vehicle
• complete pre- and post-shift inspections and report issues
• calibrate and clean sensors
• use navigation and dispatch apps to fulfill rides
• charge the vehicle at designated locations
• drive designated routes to train the autonomous vehicle system
• follow traffic laws and safety standards
• report incidents promptly and maintain professional passenger service.

Why this role

Drivers select a five-day schedule from available options; shifts are described as 8 to 8.5 hours. Tips are retained by the driver but are not guaranteed. A valid California driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving experience are required.
