Companion & Caregiver – Flexible Hours

Job overview

The Companion & Caregiver role is onsite in Casco, MI, serving home and facility assignments in the Wayne and Macomb County area. Pay is $18.50–$23.25 per hour. BrightStar Care provides in-home support for seniors and older adults who need assistance and companionship. The caregiver assists clients with personal care, mobility, and transportation to errands and appointments, while observing and reporting changes to the Director of Nursing. The role helps clients receive day-to-day support in their homes and other listed care settings.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacies
• assist with mobility work defined by the plan of care
• document observed changes for the Director of Nursing.
