Children's Karate Instructor

The Children's Karate Instructor role is onsite at program locations in the Orlando area, including Winter Garden, Orlando, Dr. Phillips, Lake Nona/East Orlando, Apopka, and Winter Park, FL. Pay is $20 per hour during assistant-instructor training, $25 per hour after successful training, with advancement opportunities up to $40 per hour. Karate Zoo, presented by Amazing Athletes, introduces children to martial arts through a progression-based program. The instructor leads engaging classes that teach martial arts fundamentals while helping children build confidence, discipline, focus, respect, and coordination. The role follows lesson plans and supports a positive learning environment for preschool and elementary-age children.

What you'll do

• Lead or assist children's karate instruction
• follow lesson plans and bring activities to life
• motivate small groups of preschool and elementary-age children
• and complete required DCF background screening and childcare or school clearances.
