Application Developer — Software Engineer Level 2

Job overview

The Application Developer works onsite in Fort Meade, MD; compensation is $64.04–$120.27 per hour. Wyetech supports the Eurasia and Western Hemisphere mission by developing technical solutions for mission workflows and operations. The developer works with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to turn requirements into end-to-end applications and secure deployments. User-facing tools, APIs, visualizations, and data integrations help analysts carry out mission activities and provide operational value.

What you'll do

• Gather requirements with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts
• design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy applications
• build user-facing applications, RESTful APIs, data visualizations, and CI/CD pipelines
• work with cloud environments and customer-specific data repositories
• use Python, PySpark, Java, JavaScript, Elasticsearch, and Git
• debug software, document and test components, and support deployment. U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph are required.
