What you'll do

• Generate sales through cold calls, networking, and direct outreach
• acquire new accounts and maintain existing accounts
• maintain sales files and follow-up systems
• complete marketing-plan actions
• attend selected trade shows and assigned civic activities
• meet monthly room-night, revenue, and sales-call goals
• conduct weekly site inspections
• prepare productivity reports
• help prepare budgets and marketing plans
• follow up on tentative contracts and seek group rebookings
• coordinate professionally with hotel departments.
