The professional provides direct supervision and compassionate support to youth, reinforces appropriate behaviors, and teaches daily living skills. The role contributes to residents’ safety and therapeutic environment while supporting their treatment goals and progress toward less restrictive settings, returning home, or independent living.

What you'll do

• Provide direct supervision to ensure youth safety and security
• provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate, safe environment
• engage youth positively, teach and prompt appropriate behaviors, and provide positive reinforcement
• teach and assist with activities of daily living
• complete progress notes and incident reports.

Why this role

Applicants must be at least 21, have a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED, and attend a two-week paid orientation Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Rutland. MAPS certification is required or must be obtained within six months. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is listed for full-time hires, with an additional $250 bonus for MAP-certified candidates.
