The Direct Care Staff role is onsite in Waxahachie, TX, serving the Ellis County/Dallas–Fort Worth area. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. The role supports youth at Phoenix Residential through structured, therapeutic care. Direct Care Staff provide supervision and daily support while helping maintain a safe environment, de-escalate challenging behavior using trauma-informed and TBRI strategies, and coordinate with supervisors and clinical treatment teams. The work contributes to individualized care and youth development.

What you'll do

• Supervise youth and maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment
• support meals, school, recreation, and group sessions
• use trauma-informed and TBRI strategies to de-escalate behavior
• document incidents, observations, and progress notes
• transport youth to school, medical appointments, and community activities
• collaborate with supervisors and clinical teams on care plans.
