This role exists to provide design expertise for utility control center infrastructure. The engineer will develop and maintain cabling design drawings, write specifications, and support the development of bills of material to ensure robust communications systems.
What you'll do
- Participate in design team for utility control center
- develop/maintain inside and outside plant cabling drawings in Visio/AutoCAD
- write product specifications
- develop fiber/copper patching details
- support bills of material
- develop test/migration approaches
- design fiber interconnections
- participate in peer reviews and customer meetings.
