The Yoga Instructor role is onsite in Washington, DC. Pay is $60–$80 per class or $17.95 per hour for non-class work. The role supports Equinox’s fitness and wellness offerings for members in its Washington, DC locations. The instructor leads classes that deliver the Equinox member experience, adapts intensity when needed, and monitors participants throughout class. Timely classes and communication with the Group Fitness Manager support safe, consistent programming and club operations.

What you'll do

• Deliver classes to members
• follow class descriptions and modify intensity when necessary
• monitor exercise intensity throughout class
• begin and end classes on time
• teach assigned classes regularly and keep substitute teaching to a minimum
• communicate member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and substitutions to the Group Fitness Manager.
