Infant Associate Teacher

The Infant Associate Teacher is an onsite, full-time role in Bedford, NH, working with infants ages 6 weeks to 8 months. The schedule rotates between 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. RainbowLand Child Development Center provides early education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Working with the Lead Teacher, the associate teacher helps create a safe, supportive classroom that fosters early development. The role assists with learning activities, individualized support, classroom safety, and communication about children’s progress with families and the lead teacher.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily lesson plans and age-appropriate educational activities
• provide individualized support for social, emotional, and individual growth
• maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom in compliance with state regulations
• observe and document student progress and share insights with the Lead Teacher and parents.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 9 credits in early childhood education or a related field, and experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or school setting. Associate or bachelor’s degree, CDA, and CPR/First Aid are listed as nice to have.
