HVAC Chiller Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Chiller Technician role is onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Patuxent, MD, with pay of $48.60 per hour. The technician supports EMI Services’ Department of Defense base operations and facilities maintenance work. The role maintains, repairs, replaces, and modernizes commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, to achieve regulated climate conditions and support reliable building operations.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair air-cooled chillers, pumps, water systems, VRF systems, and other listed HVAC units
• test building-control inputs and outputs
• troubleshoot mechanical issues
• use meters and tools for diagnostics and repairs
• prepare work orders and material estimates
• help guide Technician I
• follow workplace safety and PPE practices.

Why this role
