Activity Assistant

Job overview

The Activity Assistant role is onsite in Independence, MO; compensation is not specified. The position supports the Activity Director in providing recreational services for residents. The assistant helps plan and deliver individualized activities that encourage participation, support residents’ interests, and promote or maintain functioning levels.

What you'll do

• Assist with developing and delivering activity and recreational programs
• encourage participation in group and individual activities, outings, and educational or religious programs
• complete activity documentation when trained and as required
• submit supply lists and receipts
• maintain resident precautions and limitations lists
• help organize volunteers and Resident Council meetings
• assist with community activities and monthly calendars.
