Inside Plant (ISP) Technician

The Inside Plant (ISP) Technician role is an onsite, nationwide field position based from Buffalo, NY, with up to 100% travel across the United States. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour, plus per diem as applicable; no per diem amount is specified. The technician joins Pearce's Energy Services team, supporting data centers and other critical infrastructure. The technician installs and maintains telecommunications and data center equipment, cabling, racks, and power infrastructure at customer sites. The role also offers hands-on opportunities to develop skills in DC power and critical-power systems.

What you'll do

• Travel to customer sites nationwide
• install, remove, and maintain telecommunications and data center equipment
• install and route fiber, copper, and power cabling
• assist with racks, cabinets, cable tray, fiber systems, and AC/DC power infrastructure
• follow drawings, specifications, and safety procedures
• use tools, lifts, and test equipment
• maintain safe, organized work areas.
