The Cybersecurity Analyst / Information Systems Security Officer role is a full-time, 100% onsite position in Tucson, AZ, with a stated annual salary range of $80,000–$110,000 depending on experience. Arete supports national security work and classified information systems; an active Top Secret clearance is required, and the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. The role protects classified systems by carrying out security authorization, control assessment, continuous monitoring, configuration management, audit, and incident response work. It supports the Cyber Security and IT teams in maintaining compliance and system security throughout the systems’ lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Perform ISSO duties under JSIG, RMF, and NIST 800-53
• develop and maintain security authorization documentation, including SSPs, POA&Ms, SCTMs, ConMon reports, and audit logs
• conduct security control implementation, validation, and assessment
• perform system audits and risk analysis
• execute continuous monitoring
• support configuration management and change control
• provide incident response support
• prepare for inspections and assessments
• support the ISSM.
