Job overview

The Systems Engineer – Site IT role is onsite in Springfield, TN, with periodic travel to the company’s Huntersville, NC headquarters and other locations. Compensation is not specified. The role is the primary IT resource for the Springfield site and works with the broader IT Infrastructure team. The position maintains site infrastructure and systems while providing hands-on employee support. It supports virtualization, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, networking, backup and recovery, and day-to-day IT operations to keep business systems available and help users resolve technical issues.

What you'll do

• Deploy and maintain VMware vSphere environments, servers, storage, and Windows Server and Azure virtual machines
• administer Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and endpoint configurations
• support Fortinet and Cradlepoint networking and site connectivity
• administer Veeam and Azure backups and perform restore operations
• provide onsite help desk support for hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and Microsoft 365
• document and track incidents through ServiceNow
• support production technology such as barcode scanners and label printers
• maintain technical documentation and asset records
• participate in infrastructure projects and after-hours maintenance as required
• travel periodically, typically up to four times per year to headquarters, with additional travel as needed.
