Medication Technician (Med Tech)

The Medication Technician (Med Tech) role is onsite in Battle Creek, MI, with compensation of $18–$19 per hour. At NorthPointe Woods, a Cardinal Senior Living community, the role supports the mission of providing dignity, safety, and care to elderly residents. The technician administers medications and treatments, documents care, and communicates medication needs and resident changes to the care team. The role also assists residents with daily living activities and helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable community environment.

What you'll do

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, care plans, and regulations
• document medication administration and treatments
• communicate with pharmacies and team members about refills, changes, and discrepancies
• complete narcotic counts and medication records
• assist residents with mobility, transfers, personal care, and daily living activities
• observe and report changes in condition
• complete incident reports
• maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• communicate respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers
• assist with light household tasks as needed.

Why this role

Requires a current Medication Technician or Medication Aide certification or credential meeting Michigan requirements. CNA certification and prior senior living or healthcare experience are preferred.
