What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• take and record vital signs when ordered and competency requirements are met
• use safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• assist with exercises and range-of-motion procedures as ordered and within demonstrated competency
• do patient laundry
• support home safety
• recognize emergencies
• follow the care plan
• communicate with clients, families, and the office
• document care and report condition changes to the nurse supervisor.
