Activity Aide

The Activity Aide role is onsite at Alden Long Grove Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Lake Zurich, IL. Compensation is $18.50–$20 per hour. The center provides short-term rehabilitation, transitional care, and post-acute services in a welcoming environment. The aide helps deliver a therapeutic, person-centered activity program that supports residents’ quality of life. The role follows the Activity Director’s calendar and program procedures, learns residents’ backgrounds and needs, and assists with outings.

What you'll do

• Carry out daily activity calendar requirements set by the Activity Director
• follow activity program policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• support a person-centered activity program
• learn residents’ backgrounds, cultural and life histories, and care needs
• provide feedback to the Activity Director
• assist with resident outings.
