Village Public Safety Officer

What you'll do

• Provide law enforcement services, patrol, investigate crimes, and assist state and federal agencies as requested
• maintain fire equipment and support fire prevention
• assist with search and rescue
• provide emergency medical services within training
• share public safety information and safety education
• assist with probation and parole duties
• transport prisoners
• and complete reports. Rover, temporary, itinerant, overnight, and other duties may be required as described in the posting.

Why this role

Requires willingness to receive training, U.S. citizenship or qualifying resident-alien status, age 21 or older, high school diploma or equivalent, medical and mental health clearance, and successful completion of a physical fitness test.
