The School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional role is onsite in Concord, CA, with pay of $22–$28 per hour based on experience, certification, and education. Building Connections Academy supports students’ learning, growth, and independence through personalized learning and evidence-based behavioral support.

• Provide one-to-one behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences
• implement individualized programs and collect progress data
• teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills
• encourage independence and positive student relationships
• maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Why this role

In-person Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, with minimum availability of 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. Registered Behavior Technician certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days; paid training is included.
