What you'll do
- Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Nursing Department
- supervise and instruct staff
- ensure adequate staffing across shifts
- audit charts and electronic health records
- support resident care plans and conferences
- recruit, interview, and select staff with Administrator approval
- schedule work and assignments
- complete performance evaluations
- make daily rounds
- monitor medication passes and treatment schedules
- ensure nursing licenses are current
- report changes in resident condition to families and physicians
- participate in education and quality meetings.
