Landscaper Lead, Enhancement Team

The Landscaper Lead role is onsite in Durham, NC. Compensation starts at $20 per hour. For Garden’s Sake is a family-owned garden center and landscaping company offering plants, landscape design and installation, and lawn maintenance services. The lead performs detailed landscape enhancement work and is expected to eventually lead a route and crew. The role combines hands-on trimming, planting, and maintenance with equipment operation and professional interaction with clients and teammates.

What you'll do

• Trim shrubs according to plant type and season
• edge and trim beds
• prune trees and shrubs
• weed and spread mulch or pine straw
• install plants and annuals on a small scale
• perform some routine lawn maintenance
• operate trucks, trailers, mowers, and handheld equipment
• work with the team to deliver landscape enhancements
• interact professionally with clients and crew members.
