Project Estimator

Job overview

The Project Estimator role is onsite in Lisle, IL, with an annual pay range of $90,000–$140,000. The estimator works with clients, project managers, and discipline engineers to develop TIC estimates from internal FEL packages. The role organizes engineering inputs into project estimating deliverables and supports estimate reviews. Its work helps project teams and clients assess small capital projects and may provide opportunities to develop related project services skills such as cost controls, scheduling, and procurement.

What you'll do

• Develop TIC estimates and bases of estimates for small capital projects, typically up to $15 million
• coordinate and present estimates to project teams, project managers, and clients for review
• organize engineering inputs into estimating deliverables
• participate in estimate kickoff and internal and external review meetings.

Why this role

The posting prefers an associate degree or higher, at least five years of experience, an engineering or construction background, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with scheduling methods and tools such as P6 or MS Project. Aspen In-Plant or Capital Cost Estimator is preferred but not required.
