Business Development and Community Relations Specialist

Business Development and Community Relations Specialist is a field-based, onsite role in Alexandria, VA. Pay is $28–$35 per hour plus performance incentives, for approximately 20–25 hours per week. CareBuilders at Home of Alexandria provides non-medical home care to seniors, adults with disabilities, veterans, and families in Northern Virginia. The specialist develops referral relationships and business opportunities to support the organization’s growth. The role combines community outreach, partnership development, and technology-supported prospecting to help move qualified opportunities toward referrals and new clients.

What you'll do

• Develop relationships with referral sources, strategic partners, and community organizations
• research and participate in meetings, presentations, networking, and community events
• maintain follow-up and a measurable business-development pipeline
• track contacts, referrals, and outcomes in the CRM
• use AI, social media, and digital tools for research and outreach
• and support opportunities through referral, assessment, and start of care. Travel throughout Northern Virginia is required.
