The Senior Paralegal, Litigation is an onsite role in Chicago, IL. The annual base salary range is $105,000–$130,000. The role supports RWE Americas’ in-house legal team as the company manages litigation and disputes related to its energy business. The role exists to manage the day-to-day lifecycle of a varied litigation portfolio and enable counsel to assess matters, meet deadlines, control costs, and maintain defensible records. It coordinates discovery, case documentation, outside counsel, and reporting across matters and jurisdictions.

What you'll do

• Manage matter intake, service of process, subpoenas, fact gathering, and preliminary assessments
• track court, contract, and insurance deadlines
• review and summarize legal filings and memoranda
• maintain litigation files
• coordinate litigation holds, e-discovery collection, review, production, and privilege logs
• assist with drafting legal documents for attorney review
• prepare warranty and insurance claim packages
• coordinate deposition, hearing, and trial preparation
• manage outside counsel deliverables and invoices
• conduct legal and factual research
• support litigation risk reporting and stakeholder training.
