The Maintenance Technician II is an onsite role in Columbia, SC. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Technetics Group’s manufacturing operations by helping keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for production. The technician independently performs preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, diagnoses equipment issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and documents work in the computerized maintenance management system. The role also supports root-cause analysis, reliability improvements, and safe equipment installation and operation.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facilities, utilities, and support systems
• diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures
• document repairs and equipment status in the CMMS
• identify equipment risks and reliability concerns
• support root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance improvements
• coordinate with production, engineering, quality, safety, contractors, and vendors
• support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications
• follow Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and other applicable requirements.
