Assistant Property Manager – Affordable Housing

The Assistant Property Manager – Affordable Housing role is onsite in San Diego, California. Pay is $26–$27 per hour. The position supports operations and compliance at an affordable housing community managed by Royal Property Management Group. Working with the Property Manager, the assistant helps coordinate leasing, resident relations, program compliance, administrative work, and site operations to support residents and meet regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Assist with applications, waitlists, move-ins, transfers, and move-outs
• respond to resident concerns
• support Fair Housing practices and LIHTC and Project-Based Section 8 compliance
• assist with certifications, recertifications, verifications, file audits, and audit documentation
• support rent collection and subsidy administration
• prepare reports and correspondence
• coordinate vendors, work orders, inspections, and site operations
• maintain confidentiality.
