Job overview

The PCB Data Translator works onsite in Hillsboro, OR, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay is $28–$32 per hour based on experience. Pentagon EMS, a StenTech company, designs and manufactures tooling for electronics assemblers across the United States and Canada. The translator converts customer design files into accurate engineering data used to develop assembly tooling. By identifying missing information and design risks before production, the role helps Engineering and Sales meet turnaround commitments and prevent data errors from reaching manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Import and verify customer PCB data, including Gerber RS-274X, ODB++, IPC-2581, centroid/BOM, and STEP files
• identify board outlines, panel layouts, component heights, and keep-out areas
• flag data issues and resolve them with customers through Sales
• meet daily turnaround commitments, including rush orders
• maintain customer design preferences
• support quality investigations and corrective actions
• suggest process and template improvements.
