Mental Health Technician

The Mental Health Technician role is onsite in Worland, WY. Compensation is not specified. The position reports to the Program Director and supports individuals facing mental health challenges in a therapeutic environment.

What you'll do

• Observe and assess patients' mental and emotional states and report changes
• respond to crises using de-escalation techniques
• assist with activities of daily living and skill training
• participate in therapeutic activities and groups
• observe medication administration and report possible adverse effects
• contribute to individualized care plans
• transport clients to appointments as needed
• maintain safety, documentation, and communication with the care team
• complete required training
• perform household and vehicle upkeep as instructed.

Why this role

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of mental health or healthcare experience and crisis intervention or de-escalation experience are preferred. A valid driver's license with a clean record is required; basic and compliance training must be completed upon hire and annually.
