What you'll do

• Recommend staff employment decisions to the director of operations
• oversee quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides
• organize care-center clinical operations
• review service requests and determine home-care eligibility and suitability
• coordinate referrals and admissions with intake
• oversee scheduling, payor verification, and precertification
• review staff documentation and resolve deficiencies
• assist clinicians with patient goals and plans of care
• evaluate patient needs and revise plans with clinicians
• participate in the on-call process
• assist with staff training
• investigate and resolve patient, family, and physician concerns. Direct patient care may be provided infrequently in emergencies.
