Technical Planner

Job overview

The Technical Planner role is onsite at customer shipyard facilities in Bremerton, WA. Pay is $32.00–$38.00 per hour. The role reports to the Planning and Execution Manager and supports shipyard production work. The planner develops technically accurate work instructions and material lists from scopes of work, drawings, manuals, and specifications. The role helps resolve technical conflicts, coordinate repair and replacement planning, and ensure production teams have accurate technical and material information.

What you'll do

• Develop Technical Work Instructions for approved production scopes
• resolve specification conflicts or provide technically approved substitutes
• coordinate repair and replacement plans with production teams
• determine objective quality evidence and test requirements
• coordinate instruction need dates and technical clarifications
• develop job material lists
• assist Purchasing with qualified vendor identification
• obtain IMIA Structural Inspector Certification.
