Maintain a sanitary environment for patients; demonstrate knowledge of high-level disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment; prepare the endoscopy unit and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies; clean GI treatment rooms between procedures; assist in the maintenance, care, and labeling of specimens; identify specimens with the surgeon and pass them to the circulatin
