Medication Nurse (LPN or RN)

What you'll do

• Administer methadone as prescribed
• assess patients for treatment and dosing appropriateness
• observe patients after administration
• follow physician orders
• collect and document urine specimens and results
• maintain medical supplies and medication records
• receive medication shipments under applicable procedures
• coordinate dose packages
• train new nurses
• monitor physicals and lab work
• participate in treatment-team meetings and training
• and support accreditation and regulatory compliance.
