The Clinical Pharmacist – Nights role is onsite at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL. The annual salary range is $106,891–$160,326. The hospital’s mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare to its community. The pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders, monitors medication therapy, provides drug information, and supports safe medication use throughout the hospital. The role also directs pharmacy support personnel, contributes to medication-use and process-improvement initiatives, and serves as a resource for pharmacy policies and regulatory compliance. The schedule is seven consecutive nights on followed by seven days off.
What you'll do
- Review and verify medication orders
- monitor medication therapy

- supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
- participate in medication-use and process-improvement initiatives
- advise on pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
- may assume essential pharmacy management responsibilities in the Pharmacy Manager’s absence.

Why this role
Requires a Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited school, an Illinois pharmacist license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. New graduates are welcome to apply; health-system pharmacy experience is preferred.
