Assistant Mechanic – Golf Course Equipment is an onsite, full-time role in Vienna, VA. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The mechanic supports Westwood Country Club’s Equipment Manager and Grounds Department in maintaining equipment for golf course and property operations. The role helps keep mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other turf equipment safe, maintained, and ready for daily use. Work includes preventive maintenance, repairs, cutting-unit setup, equipment preparation, parts organization, and maintenance records under the Equipment Manager’s direction.

What you'll do

• Assist with maintenance and repair of golf course equipment, small engines, and machinery
• perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
• help diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine problems
• maintain and set up reel and rotary cutting equipment
• inspect and prepare equipment for operations
• organize parts and supplies
• document maintenance and repairs
• follow shop and equipment safety procedures
• help maintain an organized maintenance facility.
