What you'll do

• Install, remove, modify, and repair fiber optic cable
• work safely in communications and energized spaces
• climb poles and work from bucket trucks when needed
• inspect equipment and maintain worksite housekeeping
• perform minor field repairs
• strip, cleave, terminate, splice, document, and test fiber cable
• use fiber optic testing and splicing equipment
• follow industry coding and procedures
• provide spotting and roadway flagging support when needed.
