Medication Technician

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Mesa, AZ. Pay is $21 to $22 per hour. What you'll do

• Assist with prescribed medication administration as outlined in care plans
• document care and report changes in resident status
• manage medication inventory and storage and coordinate reorders and deliveries
• assist with activities of daily living
• provide emotional support and companionship
• encourage participation in life-enrichment activities
• communicate with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid state medication-administration license or eligibility under state assisted-living requirements, and current First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain them. At least 12 months of professional medication-administration experience is required; memory-care experience is a plus. Weekend rotation is required.
