Development and Fundraising Manager

The Development and Fundraising Manager is primarily in-office in Downtown Manhattan, New York, NY, with occasional remote work possible. The base salary is $80,000–$90,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus tied to fundraising results. Complete Playground is an inclusive nonprofit serving children and families and is growing individual, corporate, foundation, and major-gift support for an expansion and capital campaign. The manager cultivates and solicits donors, builds sponsorship and foundation relationships, and manages the fundraising pipeline. The role helps secure resources for the organization’s expansion and capital campaign through donor engagement, proposals, grants, and coordination with the Founder, Board, and fundraising partners.

What you'll do

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual and major donors
• develop corporate sponsorships and foundation relationships
• build and manage a donor and prospect pipeline
• support capital campaign and major-gift strategy
• prepare proposals, sponsorship requests, and fundraising communications
• research grant and foundation opportunities
• represent the organization at donor meetings and fundraising events
• work with the Founder, Board, and fundraising partners.
