What you'll do

• Bring patients to and from exam rooms
• document workups and physician comments in electronic medical records
• complete encounter forms and patient histories
• apply eye drops as directed
• assist physicians chairside and administer ordered treatment as allowed
• review care instructions
• check visual acuity and examine eyes
• perform listed eye tests and measurements
• prepare exam rooms
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Why this role

Weekday schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with rotating Tuesday late shifts until 8:00 p.m. Travel among Akron Fairlawn, Stow, and Kent offices is required. Entry-level candidates are considered; high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and typing speed of 40+ words per minute are required.
