The Life Enrichment Assistant role is onsite in Waukee, IA, with stated pay of $15.50 per hour. The part-time schedule is Tuesday–Thursday, 3–7 p.m., Saturday, noon–4 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.; weekdays may be flexible, but at least two evenings are required. The role supports residents at Independence Village Waukee. The assistant helps plan and carry out activities that support residents’ social welfare and interests. The role also supports department administration, maintains safe and welcoming activity spaces, and assists with transportation and outings.

What you'll do

• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills
• support administrative tasks
• maintain resident safety
• set up, clean, and maintain activity areas and community spaces
• attend outings and coordinate related administrative tasks
• follow safety practices and employee standards.
