What you'll do

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, and modify telephone and high-speed internet services
• test and set up equipment, including PCs, local area networks, and VoIP telephone equipment
• respond to network issues and perform preventive repairs
• maintain backhaul networks
• inspect cable and electrical equipment
• troubleshoot and replace components and resolve RF-link and IP-network issues
• communicate with customers and explain installed products
• maintain installation, service, and inventory records
• drive a company truck between work sites
• follow safety procedures. The posting says weekend and/or evening work is required and some travel may be required
• participation in an on-call rotation may occur as needed.
