Water/Wastewater Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Water/Wastewater Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Groveland, FL, with compensation of $25–$30 per hour. The position supports operation and maintenance of the City of Groveland’s water and wastewater treatment facilities. The technician maintains and repairs mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment so treatment processes can operate reliably and meet regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and chemical feed equipment
• inspect and repair electrical components
• maintain and calibrate instrumentation and automation systems
• assist with equipment installation and commissioning
• respond to equipment failures
• maintain piping and hydraulic systems
• document work in CMMS
• and coordinate with operators to support plant operations and compliance.
