IT Operations Engineer

Job overview

The IT Operations Engineer is an onsite role in Chicago, IL, with an annual salary range of $105,000–$115,000. The IT Operations team provides operational support for MISUMI Americas technology systems and works closely with Cloud Infrastructure Operations to support secure access for employees. The engineer maintains identity, network, endpoint, and SaaS operations and contributes to cross-functional technology initiatives. The role helps keep systems secure and reliable while supporting employee lifecycle processes, new facility deployments, and company-wide IT projects.

What you'll do

• Own Microsoft Entra ID administration, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, group-based provisioning, and lifecycle management
• assist with automation for security alerting, monitoring, and reporting
• manage SaaS platforms and user access governance
• deploy and maintain WAN, LAN, and site-to-VPC networking using Cisco Meraki and FortiGate
• deploy security and facility access controls
• contribute to runbooks and knowledge-base materials
• use Jira for IT service management, workflow configuration, and reporting
• advise IT leadership on process improvements and automation
• assist with SIEM design, deployment, and management.
