Part-Time Attorney – ADA Compliance and Legal Project Support

Job overview

The Part-Time Attorney – ADA Compliance and Legal Project Support role is onsite in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Pay is $25–$35 per hour. The attorney supports legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, including Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. The role provides legal analysis and guidance, identifies compliance gaps, and supports action plans and project delivery. It helps coordinate stakeholders and documentation for legal and compliance work while maintaining professional confidentiality and judgment.

What you'll do

• Advise on ADA accessibility, nondiscrimination, and reasonable-accommodation requirements
• review policies, procedures, agreements, and supporting documents for compliance gaps
• conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, reports, and recommendations
• support compliance action plans
• when applicable, review federally funded program requirements and related documentation, reporting, monitoring, and audit responses
• coordinate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders
• support project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and follow-up
• maintain confidentiality and address potential conflicts.

Why this role

Requires active authorization to practice in Puerto Rico state courts and admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, both in good standing; a J.D. or equivalent; at least three years of legal practice; and demonstrated ADA compliance experience. Federal funding compliance is preferred; project management experience is highly preferred.
