The Caregiver - American Sign Language (ASL) position is onsite in Austin, TX; compensation is not specified. The caregiver provides in-home support to clients through Amada Senior Care. The caregiver supports clients’ daily living, safety, and well-being through companionship, personal care, meal assistance, medication reminders, and help with mobility and errands. Proficiency in American Sign Language enables communication with clients who are deaf or hard of hearing.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and social interaction
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• provide light housekeeping and laundry
• prepare meals according to care plans
• provide medication reminders as directed
• assist with transportation, errands, and appointments
• communicate using ASL as needed
• observe and report changes in client condition
• follow individualized care plans and protect client dignity and confidentiality.
