Sheet Metal Shop Manager

The Sheet Metal Shop Manager position is onsite in Overland Park, KS. Base salary is $90,000–$125,000 per year, with a performance-based bonus opportunity. The role leads a commercial HVAC fabrication shop supporting HVAC installations. The manager oversees production, quality, safety, and workforce development. Coordinating schedules, materials, equipment, and shop employees helps deliver fabrication work on time and to project requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily HVAC sheet metal fabrication operations
• plan, schedule, and coordinate production
• supervise, train, and develop shop employees
• maintain quality, productivity, and workmanship standards
• oversee fabrication of ductwork, control boxes, furnace casings, drainpipe assemblies, and custom sheet metal components
• review drawings and specifications
• manage inventory, materials, and purchasing
• coordinate equipment maintenance and repair
• monitor workflow and labor efficiency
• partner with project managers, field teams, contractors, and engineers
• enforce OSHA safety and PPE requirements
• drive continuous improvement.
