The Sous Chef role is onsite in Alliance, OH, with compensation not specified. The full-time schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 PM–8:30 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM. AVI Foodsystems provides food services with a focus on quality ingredients, service, and value. The Sous Chef prepares meals to specifications and helps lead kitchen operations, supporting consistent food quality, safe handling, sanitation, and an organized kitchen. The role also manages inventory and handles opening, closing, and other duties as directed by the Executive Chef.

What you'll do

• Prepare meals and food to specifications in a timely manner
• measure ingredients and portions
• ensure kitchen staff follow standards, procedures, and sanitation requirements
• use kitchen equipment
• manage inventory and freshness
• maintain proper cooking temperatures and storage
• keep workstations and equipment clean and sanitized
• take charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other duties as directed by the Executive Chef.
