Activity Director

The Activity Director role is onsite in Crivitz, WI, with stated pay of $18 per hour, negotiable based on experience. NEWCare provides supportive living services and aims to offer long-term residents a home-like experience and help short-term rehabilitation patients return home. The director plans, implements, and evaluates activities that encourage socialization, entertainment, relaxation, fulfillment, independence, and daily living skills. The role also coordinates volunteers and supports resident well-being through inclusive programs and events.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement individual and group activities
• carry out activities in residents’ care plans
• incorporate residents’ interests and choices
• connect with residents on their units
• provide adaptive devices and activities for residents with special needs
• encourage participation, self-esteem, and social interaction
• plan special events
• supervise the Activity Aide and volunteers.
