The Cable Plowing Crew works onsite primarily in and around Keystone, SD, with the listing location in Rapid City, SD. Mt Rushmore Telephone installs underground fiber-optic telecommunications cable in the communities it serves. The workday begins at 7:00 AM, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. The crew performs construction work to place underground telecommunications cable, using hand tools for digging, raking, and cleanup. Depending on capability, workers may operate light trucks and construction equipment. The work supports expansion of fiber-optic service in the communities served.

Why this role

Work may be seasonal or full-time. Employees living in Minnesota will be flown to the work area Monday morning and home Friday night. Full-time benefits are not available for seasonal work.
