The Principal Software Engineer, Full Stack role is hybrid, with onsite work every other week for five days in Westlake, TX; Jersey City, NJ; or Smithfield, RI. The rate is $75–$85 per hour on a W-2 basis. Eliassen Group is a strategic consulting firm providing technology, business advisory, and life sciences solutions. The engineer leads Oracle-centered software and database design, development, and optimization for scalable distributed systems, supporting OLTP workflows while improving performance, reliability, testing, and engineering practices and mentoring other engineers.

What you'll do

• Lead software and database solution design and implementation
• provide Oracle database engineering leadership focused on Exadata optimization, scalability, reliability, and performance
• develop SQL/PLSQL services, data APIs, and batch frameworks
• conduct design and code reviews
• drive database development, ATDD, CI/CD, testing, and production-readiness practices
• collaborate with global teams
• improve performance and operational efficiency
• mentor engineers.
